Shlama Akhay,

I wanted you to see an instance where the Greek text has 'life' but the Aramaic text has 'the world'.

(ASV)- 1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

(James Murdock)- 16 For all that is in the world, is, the lust of the body, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of the world; which are not from the Father, but from the world itself.

For whatever reason Zorba thought the pride of 'kosmov'-(the world) was cumbersome so he chose the pride of 'biov'-(life).

The Peshitta text has 'world' three times. Do you think Zorba got bored with the term and decided to use another? <!-- sConfusedarcasm: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sarcasm.gif" alt="Confusedarcasm:" title="Sarcasm" /><!-- sConfusedarcasm: -->
