Peshitta canon
#2
I noticed that John Wesley Etheridge in his translation of the Peshitto uses "Pharishee" (plural),
but http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view. ... 2&letter=P says, "Perisha" (the singular of "Perishaya"). So, who is right, Etheridge or the Jewish Encyclopedia in whether it would have a "e/ee" or "a" ending for the plural?

Shlama, Craig
