And then with regard to the suggestion that 'John 18:14-23 could be a later addition?', I would consider that quite unlikely.  For example, notice the ܕܝܢ (“and”) in John 18:24.  In Aramaic we don’t write ܕܝܢ  in the second word position for a title or headline.
