ps: I'm writing an article in Dutch, about the Aramaic primacy, based on the Greek texts, that have Aramaic loanwords and transliterations
Thanks!
Hi Distazo,
The word for "Paradise" is ultimately Sanskrit/Persian in origin. In Semitic languages like Hebrew/Aramaic, the native word is "Gan/Gantha" for "garden", as in the garden of Eden.
