Aramaic fragments from Dunhuang

Quote:The International Dunhuang Project: The Silk Road Online
IDP is a ground-breaking international collaboration to make information and images of all manuscripts, paintings, textiles and artefacts from Dunhuang and archaeological sites of the Eastern Silk Road freely available on the Internet and to encourage their use through educational and research programmes.

Just type syrht in the search box on the left (where it says 'search the idp database') for the aramaic fragments.

I found some interesting ones:

A fragment of Romans - SyrHT 49
The image that is on the right
Romans 5:12-19

The image that is on the left
Romans 5:19-21 (until line 6)
Romans 7:1-5 (line 7 to the end)

Fragment of Psalm 23 - SyrHT 316
The image that is on the left - fragment on top-center.

Hope you enjoy it.

Shlama Phil,

It seems that none of these things you posted work...

Aaron,

I'm sorry. I don't know why those links don't work anymore. I edited the post with the fragments numbers instead the links.

Go to http://idp.bl.uk/ and, on the search box at left, where it is written 'search the idp database' just type syrht , press the go button and you will get a list with the aramaic fragments.
