i am wondering, since i am readily accepting of the peshitta as primary, which english translation of the New Covenant writings is probably best:
Lamsa?
Etheridge?
or
Murdock?
and are there other english translations i am not aware of? i'm not speaking of the recent ones (like in the last 10-20 years). i have noticed a major trend in people producing new peshitta translations.
todah rabbah (how does one say "thank you" in Aramaic?)
Yochanan
