12 more Days Till Mari/P.E.A.C.E. ??!!
#1
Shlama akhi Andrew,

OK, you (Andrew Gabriel Roth) said in an earlier post:

"Yes, we are still looking for a PESACH release, and the first day of PESACH is--wait for it--

14 Nisan, so no problem right???

Okay, okay, I know. You wanted a GREGORIAN date--the great Chag begins April 20th and ends 7-8 days later depending on who you talk to. But this year there is no debate on Pesach between the major rabbinic and Karaite camps. The barley in Israel as of March 8th was NOT in Aviv and the Rabbinic calendar calls for 2 Adar as well. I think Avi ben Mordechai and Nehemiah Gordon, along with other Karaite bodies that I have also heard from, are pretty reliable authorities on this matter.

Because of the activities of someone who will remain nameless, I am determined not to pre-promote excessively or take pre-publication orders, and this is why no official Mari announcement exists on my websites or at the Netzari Press website....."

My QUESTION:

I know that you absolutely DO NOT sell ANYTHING on Shabbat/Shabbas, as per YHWH's Commandment's.

"The Ten Words".

OK, so will you SELL Mari/P.E.A.C.E. *BEFORE THE PASSOVER* and Unleavened Bread??

Since we all know that you do not sell on Shabbat, this is the only way around this, that I can think of?

Maybe the few days BEFORE Passover......how 'bout the 16th, 17th or 18th of April?

If I might say, it seems unfair to us to release it on a Shabbat, and then NOT TO BE ABLE TO SELL IT FOR A WHOLE 8 DAYS (later).

Have either you, or your publisher, thought of an earlier release date of just a FEW DAYS perhaps?

I'm NOT trying to be pushy, but I thought of this last night right before I feel asleep, and I decided to write to you and just ask you about this little puzzle.

I'm waiting breathlessly for any further release news about Mari/P.E.A.C.E.

I've checked your website.....nothing happening THERE, right now either.

We (A LOT OF US!!) await your answer as to just how to work out these spiritual details.

Not trying to be a burr under your saddle my Brother, but just one thinking ahead.

Thank you for replying to this post!

At any rate.......we're getting ready TO MAKE HISTORY!

In Yeshua's Love, Albion

Shlama Akhi Albion,

Pesach day, 14 Nisan, is NOT a Shabbat, because it begins late afternoon. At sunset, when 15 Nisan begins, THAT is an annual Shabbat. The rest of the time is NOT a Shabbat except the last day, 22 Nisan, and of course the regular weekly Shabbat beginning that Friday at sundown.

So, you wanted some Nazarene instruction Akhi, well here it is!

Now, if I wanted to release Mari/PEACE on Nisan 14 at daytime, that is fine. But if you really insist on it, I will wait to the conclusion of Pesach, the day after, Nisan 23! Or maybe I'll just keep it for after the omer is counted, just to be on the safe side! Oh wait--then there's Shavuot to worry about so...(kidding)

As for it being sooner--no way. It's tight as it is with all the stuff going on. But my publisher and I simply don't have time to finish this and do the website stuff simultaneously, so the web page will continue to be un-helpful for the duration I'm afraid. I promise you it is happening, and even if there is one more delay it will be small. There is no way this is not going to print very, very soon. I am going from updates my publisher is giving me, like this one:

Shlama Khati Shali and Akhi Andrew,

It's been well over 10 years since I've had fellowship with the printer so we spent about 5 or 6 hours catching up and sharing some latest revelations from YHWH's Word and then we got to work. We could not possibly ask for a better gift from YHWH than to have each one that our Father YHWH has brought together for this publication. It is such a wonderful blessing to see how things are coming together right now and I just pray that things will continue to go smooth from here to printing.

He has become as excited about Mari as we are and he immediately got right to work on it, plus he's pulled in his top graphics computer guy to oversee all the file transfers etc to ensure accuracy. Since I was last here in Vancouver his business has more than doubled in size and it appears as he has more than enough resources to handle the job.

Trying to put English and Aramaic side by side on each page is simply not working, we are far better off to put Aramaic on the right page and English on the left and then put the footnotes over the bottom of both pages. This flows much nicer and is used in many Hebrew/English publications as well, plus it will save us a lot of space in the long run. Right now the printer is working on headings, size of fonts, etc., and I'm making a master check list of everything that needs a final lookover and finishing up the last of Shali's footnote proofs. The last few days have been extremely hectic but now I'm settled in at a friends place and have the house to myself for the most part.

I pray that you have a blessed day,

Baruch

And I promise to keep everyone updated the moment I know something.

PS--I approved Baruch's request to do the footnotes across both pages, so that should help keep it all moving along.
