Re: Aramaic Odes of Solomon - gbausc - 07-24-2008

Hi Mike,

I am not The Dave you are referring to . We have not heard from him for years. I never purchased The Odes and have just downloaded them from the site Phil posted.
That is my first exposure to the Aramaic Odes. They are not in word processing form, being photo copies merely, so they cannot be searched for codes in this form.
If someone wants to transcribe them in an Aramaic font into MS Word, please be my guest. I have too much else to keep me busy.

I have not searched 2nd century Christian texts for codes. It is a very demanding process to prepare texts for Codefinder and to then search them for codes. I cannot simply pop a text in and push a button. It is a laborious process. I have searched The Greek NT in four editions, The Hebrew OT, War and Peace in Hebrew, The KJV Bible, and The Peshitta NT in several variations of Eastern and Western editions, as well as scrambled Peshitta and Hebrew control texts. I and others have found highly statistically significant codes in The Hebrew Bible and I have found the same in The Peshitta.

A team of Greek scholars have searched The 4 editions of The Greek NT over several years for codes. They have found nothing and have given up the search. I have found nothing significant in Greek.

I have also verified Peshitta primacy with many subsequent computer analyses of the text, comparing it to Greek editions. I have published the results in Divine Contact and in my two translations. These are available on my web site: http://aramaicnt.com

Blessings,

Dave

1 Enoch-search for codes - berekaloho - 03-29-2011

Beloved Rev.Bauscher in Yashua,Berek Alaha! Have you ever considered searching for codes in 1 Enoch? Although no Aramaic original survives, the Ethiopic could have the codes within it as it is also from the semitic language family, both the ancient Geez and Amharic. In Yashua,D.Michael.

Henoch -is- also in aramaic, however, it is in private ownership after it's find in the Qumram.
