"Ex Jesuit" splills beans on "original Bible& - drmlanc - 09-12-2003

Someone who claims to be an exJesuit claims that he saw the original Bible documents. His breakdown:

1 book, Hebrews, written in Hebrew.

1 book, Romans, written in Latin.

4 books, written in Aramaic

The rest in Greek.

Did he forget that the letters were to early Christians and that most Christians were Jewish converts? Were teh Jews not more readily swayed to Christianity because of expecting a Messiah??? Or does the 'multi language theory' have SOME basis, as teh Gospel was then given to the Gentiles as teh Jews rejected it? Either way, I have seen too much proof in the language from you guys to believe such things.

I meant "saw a document in Vatican that talks of teh original Bible documents". I wouldn't trust anything in teh Vatican library since it also has documents saying that the Pope is Jesus!!!

If you have already read the private message I sent to you (or watch my profile) you'll understand why I'm replying...

This guy called (himself?) an Exjesuit... That should the fundamental motive for suspicion... I have never known about this kind of documents in Vatican specially such stupid and blasfemous and I seriously doubt that they exist. Sorry, but I find this -to say it softly- "a little bit offensive".

No offence intended Akhi, though I must admit, I had not expected a Catholic to be here. I too was suspicious of this man, but he has given much valuable info on the Jesuits and provided much info on certain practices of the Pope and the Jesuits.

My main reason for posting, was confirmation. He claims the document says that there were books written in Hebrew, Latin and Greek. My idea is that he was writing to early Christians (Judeans) who spoke Aramaic, no matter where they lived. e.g. Do you send a letter in Chinese, to a group of Judean Christians in China?

I just wanted confirmation from Paul, AGR etc if this idea is correct. Dr. Lamsa had a similar idea.

Shlama,

Chris

Akhi, I am going berserk trying to find the evidence for your awesome split word. I can't find a single Greek mss that says 'business'

Many text variant sites don't touch it either...
