Etheridge and Murdock Translation - ScorpioSniper2 - 07-09-2012

I was curious if anyone knew a way to get the Etheridge and Murdock translations in hard copy. The Murdock translation seems more available than the Etheridge translation. I would get it but the publisher states, "This is an EXACT reproduction of a book published before 1923. This IS NOT an OCR'd book with strange characters, introduced typographical errors, and jumbled words. This book may have occasional imperfections such as missing or blurred pages, poor pictures, errant marks, etc. that were either part of the original artifact, or were introduced by the scanning process. We believe this work is culturally important, and despite the imperfections, have elected to bring it back into print as part of our continuing commitment to the preservation of printed works worldwide. We appreciate your understanding of the imperfections in the preservation process, and hope you enjoy this valuable book." Maybe I should look on Ebay!

Shlama SS2:
You can study both Ethridge and Murdock on-line at http://www.dukhrana.com, unless of course you would like to order the book from wherever. Lars and I have collated many versions, including John Wesley Ethridge, Murdock along with the Khabouris Codex UBS, King James Version and with several lexicons. Check it out. and post your comments here on http://www.peshitta.org Forum.

I'm growing up in the electronic age but I'm still a huge fan of the old fashion Bible-under-arm habit. Thank!

I know that this parallel version of Etheridge and Murdock is not a printed edition but it can be printed out (one chapter at a time) and spiral bond if so inclined: http://www.qbible.com/aramaic-new-testament/
