I'm just getting into Mar Ephrem's 15 Hymns of Paradise and am enjoying it immensely. After a rather lengthy Introduction as Chapter One the first hymn in English Translation is Chapter Two. Here begins Mar Ephrem's incredible lay of the land, an expose of the human condition laid as a template upon the supernal topography of Paradise. Nuff said. It's an enjoyable read.
