i try to keep up with Michael Heiser's offerings about the less-than-authentic side of ancient religious topics, and this one stood out enough to share with y'all here:

the link contains another link to a trailer for a video game, and a few seconds into the trailer you will see some familiar Swadaya script, although they are flipped around.

nothing significant, i just thought it was interesting to see the scarce script in a videogame, of all places!

Very interesting indeed, the letters are flipped in mid-word at times, pretty wild. Definitely looks like it's based on the Estrangelo script (with the distinct "Heh" shape)

i thought i saw an Alaph from the Swadaya form, but yeah i noticed the upside down "heh.

i used to be an avid gamer but gave it up and now my time is consumed with the Hebrew and Aramaic studies - are you a gamer?
