To Whom did "Jesus" Pray, IF He is God??? - whathell - 11-28-2010 Quote:Luqa 23:46 Greetings, I seen this topic/comment and thought about all the people who are confused like this concerning Y'shu/Jesus deity, I mean my heart just goes out to them ...I truly wish I could removed the blinders. Nevertheless, I think it is a good exercise, as how to answer such comments, for those who truly understand the nature of the one and only deity YHWH/YHVH. I'm curious as to how you, the forum reader, would resolve this poster's questions? Re: To Whom did "Jesus" Pray, IF He is God??? - Andrej - 11-29-2010 i think i can refer to the post i just made: http://www.peshitta.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2569&start=60#p15551 The man Jesus was praying to God. Jesus was 100% man, and 100% God. It was not one person of the Godhead praying to another, but simply a man praying to God. Re: To Whom did "Jesus" Pray, IF He is God??? - sean - 12-01-2010 Yes, Jesus was praying to God as he is our example and our model on how to overcome. Do we realize that we are now temples of the holy spirit, that 'greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world'. Jesus showed us how to overcome us a man, so that we would follow his example, follow his footsteps like it's saids in peter. "watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak'. ' Is any among you afflicted, let him pray' |
