Hi There,
I figured (more or less) that 'Abdin' would be the phonetic translation of the book 'Acts' in the NT.
Is this right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Rukkakha under the beth indicate a soft consonant? Thus it would be Avadin or Avade.

Are you asking what word is used in the Peshitta for "Acts" as in the "Acts of the Apostles" or are you asking what is the best Aramaic translation for the word "Acts"?
'abdin means "servants". The form of the word is in the absolute plural state.
