Jude 1:13 shameful surges? - distazo - 11-14-2009

I do not understand what jude was trying to tell.

(source: G. D. Bauscher)
"Strong surges of the see that show their shame by their froth." (based on the crawford aramaic)

I've never seen surges that make me think: "What a shame!" <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->

Isn't here some Aramaic word which has double meanings?

Thanks for any insight.

Murdock and Roth's AENT have:

"raging waves of the sea, which by their foam manifest their confusion;"
