John 19:25 - judge - 03-02-2009
I'm no expert, but I think that the greek of John 19:25 seems to that Mary (the mother of Jesus) had a sister also called Mary, which seems a little strange. It is probably ambiguous in the greek, but it looks as if the greek translator left a out ??????? (and).
It is ambiguous as to whether there are three or four women, and the missing conjunctive, ??????? (and) might make three preferable...?

Interestingly Taitian follows the peshitta which has four women unambiguously.
