Age of peshitta fragments? - judge - 06-02-2005

Paul posted this link.

Does anyone know how old these are?

Late Western Syriac (Jacobite) , probably post 7th century ?

Paul may know better what date the script is.

Hey guys,

Those are Christian Sogdian fragments (Sogdian is a central Asian Mongolo-Turkic language) from member of the Church of the East before Islam swept the area.

I don't know Sogdian, but I can read the script although can't understand their language. Waiting for them to be deciphered like everyone else.
