Paul,

What is the meaning of the the proper noun "Onesimus"? In Greek, apparently, it means "useful". Does it have a similar meaning in Aramaic?

Thanks for sticking to your guns on this debate thing. Do not get sucked into a game which you cannot possibly win. These guys are experts at baiting and so far you haven't bitten. Please don't. I have encountered numerous atheists (who deceitfully claim to be agnostic) they not only want to set the rules, they like to define our terms, and want us to trust them in their exegesis of scripture.

What credentials does "Conder" possess? Did he finish high school and did his GPA place him in the top half of his class ranking? These guys always have an agenda and simply do not have the moral capacity to accept the simple premise that intelligent people can differ on intelligent issues.

Thanks buddy,
Keith
Shlama Akhi Keith,

Onesimus is definitely a Greek name meaning "useful", and Paul being highly educated in Greek would have known that.

Thanks for the advice, believe me it was well taken and beneficial. <!-- sWink --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/wink1.gif" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><!-- sWink -->
