All,

My question deals with the English translation of the word "sons". I know in the Peshitta the word can be translated as either "sons" or "Son". My question is does anyone believe that translating "sons" as "Son" makes contextual sense?

I can see where either word could be appropriate.

"For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19. uNAS)

Thanks,

Keith
Hi Keith, for this verse, in the Aramaic NT (The Peshitta), the word is in the third person plural. "the sons of Alaha" The whole context of the passage is speaking about the sons of Alaha.
