It may be that our not so mature poster there, whom I call "Phil" for lack of a real name... has decided to take a break for being mocked and insulted by his Greek buddies, whom he has been trying for years to convince that Ivan Panin's Greek text edit is the NT Autograph in printed form.
But, I could be wrong and he just likes being rude and insulting to people. He says he is a Christian, but I can't tell.
In any case...as to the theme of this thread...I have found that once you start to show some of these GP's that The Aramaic text of the Eastern Peshitta looks to be the source text of the Greek NT, and show them evidence to that effect...they just can't seem to act right, and treat you like you are their enemy, rather than their Brother.
I say, keep showing them the truth, as you find it...and do so in as gentle and loving manner as you can muster, not returning insult for insult, or railing for railing... God will be honored by that I think, and you will feel better too. <!-- s
