I know a lot of our Church hymns usually have a certain liturgical day that they are to be sung, I was wondering if anyone knew when Alap Alpen Maran is to be sung?
I asked His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California who advised me that it's usually sung during the season of Qudash Edta.
Do you enjoy talking to yourself lector? Lol

I asked the question hoping someone would answer it quickly for me but seeing as I got no response I conducted a bit of research and viola, I got the answer <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->
Lol! Shamasha Paul, when you visiting Sydney? Yallah, it won't cost you a thing, we will all take care of you.
Akhan Alan. I'd love to. God willing soon. Almost all of my dads side is in Australia and would love to see the country.

See you all soon hopefully.

In all seriousness Akhan Robert, this is one of my favorite hymns. Is there a recording of this one? I'll translate.
Shlama Shamasha,

There sure is and I'll upload it soon.

Sorry for the late reply.
As requested Shamasha,

Alap Alpen Maran (One Thousand Thousand Our Lord) sung by His Beatitude Mar Meelis Zaia

I look forward to the translation when you can get around to it.

God bless.
