This is also our interpretation of that verse Berekaloho
This is encouraging for me because I came to exactly the same conclusion by just listening to the text and by asking our great Rabi - the Meshiah - what that meant (at the time I had no knowledge that COE even existed).

"Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus"

The text just flows right out of the previous chapter. Also I think is pretty rare in the Gospels where events are recorded in daily sequence. So you have the promise given to some of those listening and then after 6 days the transfiguration happens.

Isn't this almost like the Master was preparing those few for what was going to happen? And isn't this exactly the way he deals with His sheep? In gentleness He prepares us for the things He has us to go through. But even so, the disciples were scared to death. Imagine if they were all of the sudden just struck with that incredible revelation, they might have died on the spot. The things in the kingdom of God are real and we are still ourselves and don't lose our humanity when they happen.
