How do you Native or Aramaic speaking people understand where is meant:

I AM or when is meant 'I am he', such as in John 9:9

This question is sincere. I just want to make the best translation possible from the Aramaic Peshitta in Dutch.

Thanks!
Shlama,

I won't call myself an expert, but I will simply say that the pronoun "he" is implied. The text simply says "I am." I tend to translate literally and try to stay away from theological bias or personal interpretation. However, others here will likely be able to provide more of a background on the use of this particular phrase.

Akhan Paul's Interlinear says "that I am [he]"
